Our Story
Non-Profit IT Advisors was founded after years of watching talented, passionate nonprofit leaders struggle with the very tools meant to support their work — overpaying for software, unprotected from insider threats, confused by compliance requirements that seemed designed for corporations with legal departments three times their size.
We started this firm with a clear mandate: become the IT advisory partner that nonprofits have always needed but rarely had access to. Specialists in the unique challenges of the sector, advisors who understand budgets built on donations, and experts who know that protecting a nonprofit's data means protecting the people it serves.

Brittany Sturm Morrison
CEO & Co-Founder
Brittany's path to IT advisory started in the classroom. As an elementary school educator at a private school and church, she watched firsthand as these mission-driven organizations struggled with tight budgets, outdated technology, and IT challenges they had no roadmap to solve. Closer to home, she also witnessed her brother Colby navigate those same battles running his own nonprofit — seeing the real human cost of operating without the right guidance. She saw how financial constraints forced impossible tradeoffs, and how much could change with the right support. That experience became her driving purpose. She co-founded Non-Profit IT Advisors to ensure that organizations doing the most important work never have to face those challenges alone.
Connor Morrison
Co-Founder & IT Operations Lead
At just 18, Connor is proof that age doesn't define ambition. His plan to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Marines hit an unexpected detour when a back injury forced him to put his enlistment on hold. Instead of waiting around, Connor did what Marines do — he adapted and attacked the problem from a different angle. He founded Opexible to make ends meet while he recovers, channeling his energy and work ethic into helping businesses solve their telecom and technology challenges. That same drive led him to co-found Non-Profit IT Advisors alongside his mother, bringing the same caliber of enterprise-grade IT expertise to mission-driven organizations. Once his back heals, Connor will re-enlist in the Marines to finish what he started. Until then, he's building something real — ensuring nonprofits get the technology they deserve, without the enterprise price tag.
Colby Sturm

Colby doesn't just advise nonprofits — he leads one. With 14 years running his own organization through every challenge the sector can throw at you, he's mastered the art of keeping a mission alive on a constrained budget. That hard-won, ground-level experience makes him our most trusted voice on what compliance, sustainability, and smart IT decisions actually look like in practice.
